So, as it happens, I haven't scrapped in a month again. My December Daily sits forlornly on my desktop, neglected. I have yet to start this year's Project Life, so another New Year's resolution broken. But, I did manage to eek out a birthday card for my father-in-law!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to share it here because I love the way it turned out and I used lots of old supplies and tools! The paper and stickers are 15-year-old American Traditional Designs. The cardstock is old Die Cuts With A View that I ran through my dusty Cuttlebug. I accented the balloon stickers with some old Close To My Heart dimensional glaze and then added a couple newer touches - the Pebbles rub-on sentiment and the Jillibean Soup enamel stars. And all done!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hoping I find a way to carve out some scrapping time once again! Until then, Happy March!!</div>

Welcome to Project Life 2016 Week 8! This was a fun week to scrap because of the variety of our week. My mom came to visit, we had a birth in the extended family and we got a little time out of the house.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WHMvp8v8mH4/WHWv84HmYII/AAAAAAAA490/JSPFTqPnQDIBJeVBDhK8YjpNSqHV_7onACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B8%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="197" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-WHMvp8v8mH4/WHWv84HmYII/AAAAAAAA490/JSPFTqPnQDIBJeVBDhK8YjpNSqHV_7onACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B8%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's a look at the left side. I tried to get some "everyday photos" this week like the shot of my Costco shopping cart and my feet propped up in front of the TV. I also love when I have memorabilia I can include in my albums like Liam's swim lesson participation certificate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hf0VGSnu9nk/WHWv8suMozI/AAAAAAAA49w/TBB_W7JlNyEHEYnCjYXMI1WML5A180nRQCEw/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B8%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hf0VGSnu9nk/WHWv8suMozI/AAAAAAAA49w/TBB_W7JlNyEHEYnCjYXMI1WML5A180nRQCEw/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B8%2BLeft.jpg" width="395" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Now for the right side. We got an email from our cousin-in-law that his son was born. So, I took the text from his email and overlaid it with the snapshot he'd included. It's hard to see here, but in the upper right photo, I accented all the plastic bug toys Liam had scattered about with black liquid pearls to give them some fun dimension in the photo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/--N6KIxRELv0/WHWv8pO_HqI/AAAAAAAA49s/t7S15A3hCS4pEhVWXwpGAYjQo4rhWUlqQCEw/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B8%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/--N6KIxRELv0/WHWv8pO_HqI/AAAAAAAA49s/t7S15A3hCS4pEhVWXwpGAYjQo4rhWUlqQCEw/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B8%2BRight.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm hoping to have my December Daily finished within the next week to share with you all next...and also the first couple weeks of Project Life 2017!</div>

I'm still forever playing catchup on Porject Life and still loving it! I even got myself all my supplies for 2017 even though I still have four past years to finish! I figure it'll all come together one day!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today I am sharing my 2016 Week 7 spread. This was the week of Valentine's Day so I used lots of hearts and love-related embellishments throughout. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6nbXKLzjucI/WHWvd9fMZcI/AAAAAAAA49k/-7G27nwmv9cDoMqJzLIboMT5LfTeuDZTACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="195" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6nbXKLzjucI/WHWvd9fMZcI/AAAAAAAA49k/-7G27nwmv9cDoMqJzLIboMT5LfTeuDZTACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's the left side of the spread. I love the rainbow burst filler card in the High Five kit so I decided to use it here accented with sequins. The photo in the upper left is Liam and his preschool classmates playing in a huge puddle; I love that his preschool sends us photos of his day so I am able to include them in my albums!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iPS1DfJZkO8/WHWvdpSuqhI/AAAAAAAA49g/C6frovOU1ucv-8aZ9telRzB71I4TK8DHwCEw/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-iPS1DfJZkO8/WHWvdpSuqhI/AAAAAAAA49g/C6frovOU1ucv-8aZ9telRzB71I4TK8DHwCEw/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BLeft.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now for the right side. I love teal and red together so I really enjoyed adding the heart border overlay to the photo in the upper left and mounting it on the teal XOXO card from the High Five kit. It's a perfect combination! I then accented a few XOXOs on the card with liquid pearls.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Z2jkB9pzl24/WHWvdxlcZvI/AAAAAAAA49o/UtrYjDQ1hW0gsTfy2J_STysIkcVgifL_ACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Z2jkB9pzl24/WHWvdxlcZvI/AAAAAAAA49o/UtrYjDQ1hW0gsTfy2J_STysIkcVgifL_ACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BRight.jpg" width="391" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also included a 6x12 envelope insert this week to hold Liam's valentines. I love including memorabilia like this in all my scrapbooks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9UxgdIafq94/WHWvdMEUR3I/AAAAAAAA49c/rhsPoWenyD0K86CFZcNLLUqTDgaZMT5nQCEw/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BInsert.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9UxgdIafq94/WHWvdMEUR3I/AAAAAAAA49c/rhsPoWenyD0K86CFZcNLLUqTDgaZMT5nQCEw/s320/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B7%2BInsert.jpg" width="173" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2016 Week 8 will be coming soon! Thanks for stopping by today!</div>
Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-72447448189464303182016-11-29T08:00:00.000-06:002016-11-29T08:00:23.626-06:00Project Life 2014: Week 17<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today I am sharing another oldie spread from 2014. This one took awhile for me to plan and orchestrate because it was the week Andrew and I were in Hawaii. It was hard whittling down which photos to use out of hundreds to choose and how to also incorporate what was going on in Liam's life back in Milwaukee.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here is a look at the full spread with inserts. The left side and both sides of the 6-photo insert are all Hawaii. The right side of the spread is all Liam in Milwaukee and then the smaller 7x5 insert contains my weekly recap on one side and a Hawaii postcard on the other side. I also included a couple Hawaii brochures using Attach Me tags but they are hiding behind the insert here.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VA6Bd7HCM9Y/V_V54FpgwoI/AAAAAAAA4pU/ZcQ1wizN6S40PmqzhexgsRUpuli1LQ5WACEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BA.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VA6Bd7HCM9Y/V_V54FpgwoI/AAAAAAAA4pU/ZcQ1wizN6S40PmqzhexgsRUpuli1LQ5WACEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BA.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Here's the full spread again but with the small 7x5 insert flipped so you can see the postcard and the front of 6-photo insert.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sYnTDImf3Vw/V_V54KPgzbI/AAAAAAAA4pY/rkJka1f3NuANRX8q6z-eHk4iCqdWqb4lACEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BB.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="195" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-sYnTDImf3Vw/V_V54KPgzbI/AAAAAAAA4pY/rkJka1f3NuANRX8q6z-eHk4iCqdWqb4lACEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BB.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here's the full spread again with the 6-photo insert flipped so you can see the back of the insert and one of the brochures I included.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4bJtAiueb1A/V_V54WcWWiI/AAAAAAAA4pc/If95E9RCjaAVnB5EaQQ-lVnZhro5jMJ5gCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="193" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4bJtAiueb1A/V_V54WcWWiI/AAAAAAAA4pc/If95E9RCjaAVnB5EaQQ-lVnZhro5jMJ5gCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BC.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here is the full spread with the brochures flipped, exposing the full right side.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tm1DwnOoTEo/V_V54xw7_DI/AAAAAAAA4pg/BiRJtLrrNpojBntK2hEOoKTfhUttuJxKACEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="195" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tm1DwnOoTEo/V_V54xw7_DI/AAAAAAAA4pg/BiRJtLrrNpojBntK2hEOoKTfhUttuJxKACEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bin%2Balbum%2BD.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And in case you haven't looked at it enough, here's the full spread without inserts or brochures...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zfcsoDtB_LA/V_V55TgX9II/AAAAAAAA4pk/p4nkjofgG04ZfTF8oRVcpBeASKIWTpg8gCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bno%2Binsert.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zfcsoDtB_LA/V_V55TgX9II/AAAAAAAA4pk/p4nkjofgG04ZfTF8oRVcpBeASKIWTpg8gCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bno%2Binsert.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
...and then again with the inserts placed.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lwOOj0YafIs/V_V55vFTfaI/AAAAAAAA4ps/ygvsGYDySFcTLyfS9mNePBKe6Zt8Nw56gCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bwith%2Binsert.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lwOOj0YafIs/V_V55vFTfaI/AAAAAAAA4ps/ygvsGYDySFcTLyfS9mNePBKe6Zt8Nw56gCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BFull%2Bwith%2Binsert.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And now for some closeups of each spread starting with the left side. I decided to keep it simple and tried to marry this spread and the two sides of the insert together by treating each Hawaii photo the same - with a cardstock border and a photo caption. I wish I could say I took the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park photo but it's a postcard. The geotag on the lower left photo acts as a frame around Andrew swimming in the pool.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ovyz5Y-hJhU/V_V56CvZNTI/AAAAAAAA4p0/TU-plQB5lz04lMnPwWLuTdsYkWB6xEhlgCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ovyz5Y-hJhU/V_V56CvZNTI/AAAAAAAA4p0/TU-plQB5lz04lMnPwWLuTdsYkWB6xEhlgCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BLeft.jpg" width="392" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is the right side of the spread. I know I said the whole thing was devoted to Liam in Milwaukee but that's not exactly true. The photo in the upper left was taken during the one day I spent in Portland after returning from Hawaii before flying back to Milwaukee.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iqpj3yKn1t8/V_V56JzhNII/AAAAAAAA4p4/YuBgXAcAlxUcvgpvkS1u1CEZIK4283OUgCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iqpj3yKn1t8/V_V56JzhNII/AAAAAAAA4p4/YuBgXAcAlxUcvgpvkS1u1CEZIK4283OUgCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BRight.jpg" width="392" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is the front of the 6-photo insert. The plastic palm trees on my filler card are actually drink stirs!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xsDtXLM9IrI/V_V55wR0j8I/AAAAAAAA4pw/jOu92XpfePo4s9i_UurJXEShS5hLzSi9wCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BInsert%2BFront.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xsDtXLM9IrI/V_V55wR0j8I/AAAAAAAA4pw/jOu92XpfePo4s9i_UurJXEShS5hLzSi9wCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BInsert%2BFront.jpg" width="235" /></a></div>
<br />
Then, here is the back of the insert. The photo in the upper left of sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea is probably my favorite from the entire trip.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0z854CuwOu0/V_V55qR8vzI/AAAAAAAA4po/GQd4sZtyC_wiHg0eeuKcGk8bSbLVSM-KQCEw/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BInsert%2BBack.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0z854CuwOu0/V_V55qR8vzI/AAAAAAAA4po/GQd4sZtyC_wiHg0eeuKcGk8bSbLVSM-KQCEw/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B17%2BInsert%2BBack.jpg" width="235" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And there you have it! It was a jam-packed week 17 in 2014!</div>
Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-83152604899701457702016-11-26T20:47:00.000-06:002016-11-26T20:47:51.686-06:00My 2015 December Daily<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, I never shared last year's December Daily. The truth is, I didn't finish it until well into February. By that point, Valentine's Day had already come and gone and it just didn't seem like a real good time to share it. So, I put it on the back burner and added a task to my To Do List to come here and share it after Thanksgiving this year. I figured now that the next holiday coming up is actually Christmas and everyone is probably decorating, putting up the tree and listening to Christmas music, now is the time to share this. I hope it helps get you in the festive mood and maybe inspires any of you out there who are planning to do a December Daily this year. I am! I used Simple Stories Claus & Co. for my 2015 December Daily below and this year I will again be using Simple Stories current Christmas collection, <a href="https://www.simplestories.com/products/classic-christmas" target="_blank"><b>Classic Christmas</b></a>. So here you go - my 2015 December Daily!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Title Page:</b> I love the way this title page turned out. I hardly ever use calendar background paper but it of course worked well here. The photo is from a mini shoot I did with my boys to obtain a December photo for the grandma's 2016 calendars!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sIViDYkNxEA/WDoYpW-wfEI/AAAAAAAA4xQ/tO7_16Cm-z0sGcWPlX1TdEj5_fWhU2NgwCEw/s1600/Title%2BPage.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sIViDYkNxEA/WDoYpW-wfEI/AAAAAAAA4xQ/tO7_16Cm-z0sGcWPlX1TdEj5_fWhU2NgwCEw/s400/Title%2BPage.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Day #1:</b> This year was the first year we did an "Advent Calendar" for Liam. I read somewhere about wrapping a Christmas book and opening one each year and absolutely loved it. Oops! I've had this draft saved here for awhile and completely forgot to post it! I am jumping waaaaaay back to 2014 here. I am still trying to finish both my 2013 and 2014 album. I completely skipped 2015 but have the supplies with the intention to go back to it. And I'm behind in 2016 too. It's just the story of my life. But, that's okay.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, anyways, here's a look back at 2014 Week 16. This was Easter week and I also got to spend a few days back in Portland visiting Andrew and friends before we headed out for our Hawaii vacation. It was so wonderful being back in Portland so soon after leaving. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3zI6dtQA160/V_V53JgKi1I/AAAAAAAA4pQ/erJVzRojaDY9Pa7t7cnpgCbDQuGfQ6H9wCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B16%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3zI6dtQA160/V_V53JgKi1I/AAAAAAAA4pQ/erJVzRojaDY9Pa7t7cnpgCbDQuGfQ6H9wCLcB/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B16%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is the left side of the layout. I kept this side focused on the first days of the week when I was still in Milwaukee with Liam and also Liam's Easter Sunday (which I spent in Hawaii with Andrew).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y8RfZAk47XQ/V_V52yByiTI/AAAAAAAA4pI/KCO0b2tjzXs8zg0TTrB8dRwTgxz1rs1LgCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B16%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y8RfZAk47XQ/V_V52yByiTI/AAAAAAAA4pI/KCO0b2tjzXs8zg0TTrB8dRwTgxz1rs1LgCLcB/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B16%2BLeft.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<br />
And now a closer look at the right side. The top two rows are of my time back in Portland and then the bottom row represents our first couple days in Hawaii.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zzm8s9xallo/V_V521apl2I/AAAAAAAA4pM/e7L5b_hdYT0DYHKHNAqOmfBN7pGGK76SACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B16%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Zzm8s9xallo/V_V521apl2I/AAAAAAAA4pM/e7L5b_hdYT0DYHKHNAqOmfBN7pGGK76SACLcB/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B16%2BRight.jpg" width="392" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
This was a pretty simple spread which is good because Week 17 took me a lot of time to put together. I'll be sharing it with you soon. I have no problem keeping things simple one week and going all out the next. It's all part of the creative process!</div>
Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-22396082409506948752016-10-15T16:24:00.001-05:002016-10-15T16:24:25.485-05:00Project Life 2016: Week 6<div style="text-align: justify;">
Welcome to Project Life 2016 Week 6! This was a fun week to scrap because I had lots of photos to choose from. And shockingly, Scout makes an appearance three times this week which I am pretty sure hasn't happened since she was a puppy! Here's a look at the spread in its entirety. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gpkaLXs71oY/V_V0RBvZ4HI/AAAAAAAA4o4/kC6VloGZj64p6KPB3PtqitsSx6A55MLAgCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B6%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="197" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gpkaLXs71oY/V_V0RBvZ4HI/AAAAAAAA4o4/kC6VloGZj64p6KPB3PtqitsSx6A55MLAgCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B6%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's a better look at the left side. I love the photo of the boys on the slide with Andrew in the upper left. The cork embellishments are super fun too! The selfie I took with Scout is definitely a favorite photo and spent some time as my FaceBook profile picture. I took several photos of Liam holding the bowl of Valentine's we put together for his class and in so many photos he had that "forced" four-year-old smile. I happened to grab this one of him smiling down at the bowl and I knew this was the real winning shot.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9fnFnk_OeVk/V_V0RCe4w1I/AAAAAAAA4o0/FCfEAEbDNEk9crCYaSq07m4AMzZRN4LBwCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B6%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9fnFnk_OeVk/V_V0RCe4w1I/AAAAAAAA4o0/FCfEAEbDNEk9crCYaSq07m4AMzZRN4LBwCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B6%2BLeft.jpg" width="396" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's the right side. The upper left is a postcard from our new favorite Tap Room, Draft and Vessel. Then, I placed the photo of Andrew and I at Draft and Vessel below the postcard. I made sure to include a photo about the Super Bowl on this spread as well; I always like to include current events in my Project Life albums. They play such a big part in our lives and I fell Project Life is the prefect place to document them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pNpLSfG_LHs/V_V0Q0khKCI/AAAAAAAA4ow/jlxb4enuPTIvF1SwQ7PwOdpgC14-NLxzgCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B6%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="395" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pNpLSfG_LHs/V_V0Q0khKCI/AAAAAAAA4ow/jlxb4enuPTIvF1SwQ7PwOdpgC14-NLxzgCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B6%2BRight.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And there you go - 2016 Week 6. I'll be back soon to share some spreads from way back in 2014!</div>
Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-36341245411100603122016-10-05T22:31:00.001-05:002016-10-05T22:31:58.826-05:00Project Life 2016: Week 5<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm here to share another Project Life 2016 layout with you! I am currently bouncing back and forth between 2014 and 2016. One day I'll catch up on all my albums...ha! All that matters is I am still having fun scrapping, right?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here is 2016 Week 5 in all its glory. I am pretty happy with how it turned out with one glaring issue - there is no photo of me. Well, unless you count the photo of my feet on the BOSU ball. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-he2YBQhHUbk/V_V0D_W3pmI/AAAAAAAA4os/0UIdXu7eHw4GIl5wLrfq1FXau-jYcoH4gCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B5%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="197" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-he2YBQhHUbk/V_V0D_W3pmI/AAAAAAAA4os/0UIdXu7eHw4GIl5wLrfq1FXau-jYcoH4gCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B5%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's a look at the left side. Poor Jensen was teething and had a bad cold the day I took his 11 month photos, hence the red nose and cheeks. Poor li'l guy! I still think this photo turned out pretty cute though! On our double date with Cassie and Kevin, I completely spaced to get a photo. So I did a Google search for Morel and managed to scrounge up a photo of both the charcuterie platter with one of the entrees we ordered. So I printed that and added letter stickers with the name of the restaurant on it. Viola! Our double-date is represented photographically in my album!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-udyxkAX1u8w/V_V0Dqn43RI/AAAAAAAA4ok/swoilZUrgJkDlr-Av6tEkssJ0_7urjuNQCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B5%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-udyxkAX1u8w/V_V0Dqn43RI/AAAAAAAA4ok/swoilZUrgJkDlr-Av6tEkssJ0_7urjuNQCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B5%2BLeft.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's the right side. I seriously don't know what part of this side if the spread is my favorite. I love how the "Dream" chipboard sentiment fit perfectly between Scout in Jensen in the photo in the bottom left. I love the photo of Liam watching Toy Story with his popcorn and all his Toy Story guys represented. I also of course love the photo of my three guys and the fact that I finally remember to grab a screenshot of my "to do" list on my phone one night. I am just so happy with how this page turned out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sj05GzKzYxE/V_V0DmwoXEI/AAAAAAAA4oo/LN9jhNzH9LUJNfIaBLTvKV79qDLDc4ywQCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B5%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sj05GzKzYxE/V_V0DmwoXEI/AAAAAAAA4oo/LN9jhNzH9LUJNfIaBLTvKV79qDLDc4ywQCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B5%2BRight.jpg" width="392" /></a></div>
<br />
So there's Week 5! Week 6 will be up soon! Good night all!Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-20674357105191580162016-09-25T22:16:00.003-05:002016-09-25T22:16:59.553-05:00Project Life 2016: Week 4<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi all. I am still here. Really I am. Unfortunately, I haven't done much scrapping the past few months. Life has just been crazy busy with summer disrupting our routines, lots of traveling and just trying to enjoy the warm weather with my boys! But, with the cooler fall weather starting to roll in, I am hoping to spend more time huddled down at my scrap desk. I do have a few more weeks of Project Life completed that I've totally neglected to share so I am hoping to do that over the next few weeks while I get back into the scrapping groove. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So with that, here is 2016 Week 4! Here is a look at the full spread. I think I've already said this, but I'm really loving the fun colors and patterns in the High Five Core Kit. It's just so fun to work with! Here's a look at the full spread together...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cjARRgsa8sU/V-iL-JFAgrI/AAAAAAAA4nY/06yTbi0D5S84GhROgMRSfwQKSx6vsAp3wCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B4%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cjARRgsa8sU/V-iL-JFAgrI/AAAAAAAA4nY/06yTbi0D5S84GhROgMRSfwQKSx6vsAp3wCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B4%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here is the left side of the spread. I love the High Five edition overlay that I used on the photo of Liam and Andrew in the pool. The words just fit perfectly in the negative space around them. The photo in the lower left was a happy accident. I was driving to pick up Liam at a family member's house and this was the sky directly in front of me. So, I pulled over and grabbed a shot. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2hg_N8idtW8/V-iL-PhltoI/AAAAAAAA4nQ/9FawFWOWV0US4XzoqQRPq3sHgRQtlnEKwCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B4%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2hg_N8idtW8/V-iL-PhltoI/AAAAAAAA4nQ/9FawFWOWV0US4XzoqQRPq3sHgRQtlnEKwCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B4%2BLeft.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here is the right side. I always like including friends' and family's birth announcements in Project Life and I guess this is where it benefits me to be so far behind in this project; I usually haven't scrapped the baby's birth week before I get the announcement. So, I am able to go back and include the announcement in the correct week's spread with no trouble...like I did with baby Erza's here. The photo of Liam in the bounce house was not great quality, and it was the only one we had, so I just decided to use it kinda like a filler card and just put "BOUNCE!" all over it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C4IvRI6ZpMQ/V-iL-No7VpI/AAAAAAAA4nU/DT-E0MtFfeEYqO6mvw9csHfRB4_SWoDCACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B4%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C4IvRI6ZpMQ/V-iL-No7VpI/AAAAAAAA4nU/DT-E0MtFfeEYqO6mvw9csHfRB4_SWoDCACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B4%2BRight.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And there's my Week 4! I have more 2016 spreads to share and some throwback catchup pages from 2014 too! Stay tuned...</div>
Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-29617104830335698292016-07-01T23:01:00.001-05:002016-07-01T23:05:27.161-05:00Project Life 2016: Week 3<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ugh. I've been a crappy blogger again. So sorry folks. Summer craziness has just overtaken here, which is lots of fun, but it means less computer time for me. But, I do have more spreads of Project Life complete and ready to share. It's just a matter of getting on here and posting them!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, here's the long over due 2016 Week #3 spread! I really love all the bright, happy colors in the High Five Edition. I've been making a point to try and use as many colors as possible from this edition on each spread and here I got a touch of them all!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CZQtz6pCadE/V3c4Vs8DcbI/AAAAAAAA4P0/QplPht3x_fsxoCgKhc80tpegll35vaMmACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B3%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CZQtz6pCadE/V3c4Vs8DcbI/AAAAAAAA4P0/QplPht3x_fsxoCgKhc80tpegll35vaMmACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B3%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's a closer look at the left side. I'm really happy I found these weekly title cards that include the calendar. Then, I don't need to worry about having a calendar card in the first week of each month as I have in the past and I like that they fill the pocket enough that I don't need to embellish them. The "This is my happy place" filler card is from the pack of specialty cards that coordinate with the High Five edition and I am glad I purchased them because they are so fun. I used one of my go-to techniques and added a little hand-stitching to the other filler card. It's a great way to create just a little more visual interest to a basic filler card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Cw4EPOwK-og/V3c4VguXVOI/AAAAAAAA4Ps/RciQNg5j7p4OIXnhc2Cj8LSr_J1kXKjfwCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B3%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Cw4EPOwK-og/V3c4VguXVOI/AAAAAAAA4Ps/RciQNg5j7p4OIXnhc2Cj8LSr_J1kXKjfwCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B3%2BLeft.jpg" width="396" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's the right side! The photo in the upper left of this side is a favorite from this week because it's just so real. I was leaning with my back against the kitchen counter, still in my PJs, sipping coffee and both boys were hanging on my legs just wanting attention. It's such a typical moment that I usually ignore but, even in the midst of the craziness and my desire to just enjoy my coffee, I picked up my phone and snapped this shot. I also love the multi-colored sunburst patterned paper that came in the High Five 6x6 paper pad. I used it here in the upper right along with a postcard I received with a <a href="https://youareawesomeco.com/" target="_blank"><b>Kal Barteski</b></a> order. Her handwriting goes really well with the other fonts in this core kit! In the lower right I've got the ancient KI Memories alpha stickers making an appearance again because it's like they were made to go with this core kit...just ten years ago!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Gb1aDYijFDQ/V3c4VtiytBI/AAAAAAAA4Pw/57ith-oRH7UCKdUSHINMO_N-UdgB-aTqACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B3%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Gb1aDYijFDQ/V3c4VtiytBI/AAAAAAAA4Pw/57ith-oRH7UCKdUSHINMO_N-UdgB-aTqACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B3%2BRight.jpg" width="395" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So there's week #3! I am going to try and get the next several weeks scheduled to post throughout July because we will be out of town the majority of the month. Fingers crossed I get to it before we leave on the 9th. I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!</div>

Welcome to Project Life 2016 Week 2! I totally love the way this spread turned out. Here's a look at the entire spread together...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uIUtbcWBXs4/VzuvZSvyACI/AAAAAAAA4LE/1OdgjMzs1HoQxdjS9pSGpJlqTxvpYGWfACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B2%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uIUtbcWBXs4/VzuvZSvyACI/AAAAAAAA4LE/1OdgjMzs1HoQxdjS9pSGpJlqTxvpYGWfACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B2%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here is a closer look at the left side. I love the photo in the upper left of Liam and his classmates at school. It's wonderful that the teachers take these photos and share them with the parents because I want to document Liam's day too! And yes, Liam got stitches in his chin again as seen in the upper right. I made sure to keep the ER ID bracelet. Then, in the lower right I made an interactive pocket....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ai37X2hV0iQ/VzuvZUGO79I/AAAAAAAA4LA/JOCKyMcL5GAGRh0mevjhCWPFGgJRBqq1gCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B2%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="396" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ai37X2hV0iQ/VzuvZUGO79I/AAAAAAAA4LA/JOCKyMcL5GAGRh0mevjhCWPFGgJRBqq1gCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B2%2BLeft.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
...I took a Design I page protector and cut the bottom pocket off of it and then glued it on top of my left side page protector. After it dried, I slipped the top "before" photo into the interactive pocket, put the comic book Pow! square on the backside and then placed the "after" photo pictured below in my page protector. I love the way it turned out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Xt_30_Z3eTM/Vzums_6BjjI/AAAAAAAA4Kk/f-njdt5p0YU1cC-TaunxpZIOd2AlRQIBgCKgB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B2%2BLeft%2Binteractive%2Bpocket.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Xt_30_Z3eTM/Vzums_6BjjI/AAAAAAAA4Kk/f-njdt5p0YU1cC-TaunxpZIOd2AlRQIBgCKgB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B2%2BLeft%2Binteractive%2Bpocket.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is a better look at the right side. I of course needed to include a tribute to David Bowie this week and we, like the rest of the country, had to play PowerBall. I also love using up old supplies like the Cloud9 clear epoxy dots I used on Liam's swim lesson photo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Week 3 is coming soon!Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-9799432075678140552016-05-12T15:25:00.001-05:002016-05-12T15:25:23.772-05:00Project Life 2016: Week 1<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I am working hard on catching up on this year's Project Life before I go back to catchup on prior years. I've got Week 6 on my scrap desk right now so I feel I'm caught up enough to start sharing some of my spreads with you. Remember that I am using the High Five Edition Core Kit this year! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So here's a look at 2016 Week 1!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kWDFDxjRKk4/VzTkIar2uyI/AAAAAAAA4GA/BySvIbxhxOER0-x_yDfUDWcO-nOTXAH7QCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B1%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kWDFDxjRKk4/VzTkIar2uyI/AAAAAAAA4GA/BySvIbxhxOER0-x_yDfUDWcO-nOTXAH7QCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B1%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's a closer look at the left side. This year, I am using weekly title cards from <a href="https://arlyna.com/2015/12/11/printables-weekly-title-cards-2/" target="_blank"><b>a:bloggism</b></a>. Because of the way she designed them, I decided to try having my weeks go from Sunday to Saturday this year instead of my usual Monday through Sunday. I wasn't sure if I'd like splitting up the weekend that way but so far, it's been working out okay. I may switch back next year but we will see. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BWAmtlPbi40/VzTkIASlDYI/AAAAAAAA4F8/CG1XS3_gJ-MgBnURpIZKJY7AZEkqVKptgCLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B1%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BWAmtlPbi40/VzTkIASlDYI/AAAAAAAA4F8/CG1XS3_gJ-MgBnURpIZKJY7AZEkqVKptgCLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B1%2BLeft.jpg" width="388" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's a closer look at the right side. I've had the bling martini glasses in my stash forever and I realize that champagne glasses would have been more appropriate but this was the best I could do and it felt really good to finally use them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xiMSg6H6yUc/VzTkILzG3HI/AAAAAAAA4F4/UVfUjo3YQR8alNzsmDpuYhHiUhG5C644ACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B1%2BRight.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xiMSg6H6yUc/VzTkILzG3HI/AAAAAAAA4F4/UVfUjo3YQR8alNzsmDpuYhHiUhG5C644ACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2BWk%2B1%2BRight.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I'll post Week 2 soon! Promise!Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-58487092054570530162016-05-08T07:00:00.000-05:002016-05-08T07:00:07.934-05:00Mother's Day Cards!<div style="text-align: justify;">
Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I'm spending today being spoiled by my boys and also getting some scrapping time in! But, I wanted to share the cards I made for Mother's Day this year that I sent out to my mom, mother-in-law and grandma (aka Nana). </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I dug deep into some old kits and found one with lots of Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm scraps that I just couldn't part with. Those types of beloved scraps are perfect for making pretty greeting cards!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you all have a wonderful day!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

Hi all! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So I am still here, still scrapping and still working on catching up on Project Life. It's a slow process for sure, but I'm loving every minute even if it's only ten minutes here and there. I finished up my title pages for 2015 and 2016 as well as 2016 Week 1 (which I will share in a later post). Today I thought it would be fun to share the two title pages as well as take a look back at my 2013 and 2014 title pages for a comparison of what my title pages look like each year.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, here is my 2016 title page I just created...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vjn7qubY9VU/VyPFGr7OyjI/AAAAAAAA3hs/TTXEqBkptVoC_gk18klB92KGdCWBQygfACLcB/s1600/PL%2B2016%2B1st%2Balbum%2BTitle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vjn7qubY9VU/VyPFGr7OyjI/AAAAAAAA3hs/TTXEqBkptVoC_gk18klB92KGdCWBQygfACLcB/s400/PL%2B2016%2B1st%2Balbum%2BTitle.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">And my newly created 2015 title page...</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-64FtRMCSIts/VyPFIeFtE_I/AAAAAAAA3h0/mFC66lnAGPkg-YbiW-1Qk3U4E2md1c6-wCKgB/s1600/PL%2B2015%2B1st%2Balbum%2BTitle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-64FtRMCSIts/VyPFIeFtE_I/AAAAAAAA3h0/mFC66lnAGPkg-YbiW-1Qk3U4E2md1c6-wCKgB/s400/PL%2B2015%2B1st%2Balbum%2BTitle.jpg" width="393" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And my old 2014 title page...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hzJ4eMl1MRU/VyPFIey9RfI/AAAAAAAA3h4/AZMPh5LcrgULLWkLPLHz80FyuCbcftwpACKgB/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BTitle%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hzJ4eMl1MRU/VyPFIey9RfI/AAAAAAAA3h4/AZMPh5LcrgULLWkLPLHz80FyuCbcftwpACKgB/s400/PL%2B2014%2BTitle%2Bcopy.jpg" width="392" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And even older 2013 title page, the first year I did Project Life...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-v62kmtfWNyY/VyPFIMoIa-I/AAAAAAAA3hw/e23OS2o7kzEw1yUy829i9n6aWrbTcQpNACKgB/s1600/PL%2B2013%2B1st%2Balbum%2BTitle%2Bcopy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="395" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-v62kmtfWNyY/VyPFIMoIa-I/AAAAAAAA3hw/e23OS2o7kzEw1yUy829i9n6aWrbTcQpNACKgB/s400/PL%2B2013%2B1st%2Balbum%2BTitle%2Bcopy.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, each year, I pick one Core Kit and use it for the entire year. This standard core kit, consistent weekly title cards and weekly recaps are how I maintain continuity throughout each album. 2016 is the High Five edition, 2015 it's the Coral edition, 2014 I used the Jade edition and 2013 it was the Turquoise edition. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also like to maintain continuity among all my project life albums by having the same elements on each title page which is obvious when you look at the four pages above. The elements I include are...</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>A recent family photo</li>
<li>The year</li>
<li>The Smith Family title card (in 2013 this was combined with the family photo)</li>
<li>At least one photo of Liam (and Jensen)</li>
<li>A quote filler card of some sort</li>
<li>One or two other filler cards </li>
<li>One pocket that focuses on a big change that year - a new house, a cross-country move, a new baby, etc.</li>
</ul>
<div>
I like having a format to follow each year. It makes putting together these all important title pages so much easier!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Be on the lookout as I continue to post more Project Life spreads!</div>

I know, I know. I said I'd be updating the scrappy blog and FaceBook page more regularly. Well, the truth is I haven't done a ton of scrapping. I have been slowly but surely chipping away at my 2015 December Daily and am happy to report I'm over halfway done. It's just hard finding the time so when I get ten minutes here and five minutes there to sit at my scrap desk and get a little something done, I consider it a win. I won't be sharing last year's December Daily until this upcoming November as I feel it will be more relevant to everyone then. But, once I get my December Daily done, I'm picking up my YEARS worth of Project Life to catch up on again!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In the meantime though, I've also been back to making a few cards here and there. March is a crazy busy birthday month for us so I've found myself making several birthday cards. Here is one that I really liked that I made for my Nana. It's a total "throwback Thursday" card because I used old Basic Grey June Bug papers, a super old original Heidi Swapp chipboard heart, an old sentiment sticker I've had for years and an old Studio Calico card sketch. I love digging into my stash and creating something super fun from items I've had on hand forever. And the best part? My Nana absolutely loved receiving this handmade card, along with a few photos of the boys, for her birthday. A win all around!</div>

Today it's time to share Project Life Week 15 of 2014! To refresh everyone's memories, this was the time period when Andrew was still living in Portland and Liam and I were already living in Milwaukee. My solution to scrapping Project Life during this timeframe was to have one side of the spread for Andrew in Portland and the other side for Liam and I in Milwaukee. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2sKdHpqMZYc/Vqfr31j2NlI/AAAAAAAA2DI/GlO8jod5cek/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B15%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="197" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2sKdHpqMZYc/Vqfr31j2NlI/AAAAAAAA2DI/GlO8jod5cek/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B15%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: justify;">So, here is the left side of the spread which is Andrew's side this week. Now, I had a challenge this week in that I was dealing with a Design F page protector (with eleven spots) and had few photos to use, both from Andrew in Portland and myself in Milwaukee. Luckily, Andrew took an awesome panoramic shot when he was skiing up on Mt Hood that I decided to split up and span across the four middle photo slots on this page. I think it turned out great!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QFT8QYDFfck/Vqfr7Bh6lQI/AAAAAAAA2DU/C4JWyAUxnv4/s1600/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B15%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QFT8QYDFfck/Vqfr7Bh6lQI/AAAAAAAA2DU/C4JWyAUxnv4/s400/PL%2B2014%2BWk%2B15%2BLeft.jpg" width="397" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's the right (Milwaukee) side to this week. I tied the two sides together by using two filler cards from the same set I found online. The one above with all the stars on it and then the one on this side with the barcode, "today," and single star. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Today I'm sharing another Project Life spread from 2013 and created in 2016! Here's Week 29!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hDZwKLIDHuw/VqfkX2CpAPI/AAAAAAAA2Cc/zgTa9-l0apE/s1600/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B29%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hDZwKLIDHuw/VqfkX2CpAPI/AAAAAAAA2Cc/zgTa9-l0apE/s400/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B29%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is the left side of the spread. I've had the "Dirt" overlay in my digital arsenal for awhile, just waiting for the right photo to finally use it. I love how it worked with this photo of Liam and his buddy, Elliot.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MThxY-IySLc/Vqfkgv2o4eI/AAAAAAAA2Co/Iab8CHnRCEE/s1600/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B29%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MThxY-IySLc/Vqfkgv2o4eI/AAAAAAAA2Co/Iab8CHnRCEE/s400/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B29%2BLeft.jpg" width="395" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here is the right side. I love the first haircut block in the lower left. I put the whole 4x6 block together in Photoshop and then glued the little baggie of hair on top of the printout. I love that this kids haircut place gave me three separate baggies of his hair so I also have one for his baby book and one for my regular scrapbook. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I'm starting the blog rolling again with an oldie! Yes, it was just assembled in the past couple weeks but these photos and memories are two and half years old! But, you know what? It's been SO much fun completing these old Project Life layouts now. It's especially been a treat looking at how much Liam has grown in such a short time and reminiscing on all our fun times in Portland.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lK1NlKNQi1U/VqfaUm51z0I/AAAAAAAA2Bo/c7YEvs-V668/s1600/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B28%2BFull.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lK1NlKNQi1U/VqfaUm51z0I/AAAAAAAA2Bo/c7YEvs-V668/s400/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B28%2BFull.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is the left side of the spread. My favorite part of this side is the photo in the upper right. I put it together using a series of shots of Liam and photoshop. The QR code in the lower left leads to a YouTube video I uploaded of Liam having a blast at one of the Portland park's splash pads. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-q64rm-Li8Ug/VqfaY6UJozI/AAAAAAAA2B0/oXbeDUCmFOQ/s1600/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B28%2BLeft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="395" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-q64rm-Li8Ug/VqfaY6UJozI/AAAAAAAA2B0/oXbeDUCmFOQ/s400/PL%2B2013%2BWk%2B28%2BLeft.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
And here is the right side. The photo of Andrew and Liam taken at one of our favorite Portland haunts, Breakside Brewery, is an all-time favorite of mine and got it's own dedicated traditional layout in my scrapbook. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Wow! Is there anyone out there still?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So it's been...well...cough...eleven months...cough...</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It has been quite a year...we barely got settled into our house when we welcomed Baby Boy #2 - Jensen Michael - seven weeks early. After a month-long stay in the NICU, I am happy to say he is now a happy, healthy, mischievous 10-month-old! But, it's been quite an adjustment to learning how to be a family of four and juggle two boys. I don't know how you super moms do it! Unfortunately, the craziness of this past year has caused me to completely neglect this hobby that I love. But, I'm back! It may be a slow process getting back into the swing of things, but I'm trying. So bear with me as I try to play catchup and remember how to use my paper trimmer and ATG gun...it could get messy!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, in the past couple weeks, I have managed to throw together three Project Life spreads going way back to 2013 and 2014 and will share them over the next few days. I've decided I will definitely complete all my Project Life albums from 2013 onwards, still dedicating one spread to each week, and I just accepted the fact it will take lots of time. I have thankfully been diligent about writing up my weekly notes and organizing my photos which makes catching up on Project Life much easier. I am going to start my 2016 album here soon. The plan is to keep up as much as possible in 2016 and work back filling in all the missing weeks from 2013, 2014 and 2015 when I can. We will see how that works. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And if it doesn't, that's okay. See, I don't do new year's resolutions. But, I saw this quote posted on FaceBook a couple weeks ago and decided to adopt it as my 2016 mantra...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WtN-mNxYxtw/Vqb6scYZnJI/AAAAAAAA2BY/b7p6e9b4RNY/s1600/IMG_1108%2Bcopy.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WtN-mNxYxtw/Vqb6scYZnJI/AAAAAAAA2BY/b7p6e9b4RNY/s400/IMG_1108%2Bcopy.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So that's how I plan to scrapbook this year. I am just going to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens...and I am just going to ENJOY the process. It doesn't matter if I'm scrapping last week, last month or last year as long as I am finding pleasure in it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, there you have it! Thank you to all who took the time to read this post. I promise I'll be posting scrappy creations here very soon...starting with those Project Life spreads!</div>

I actually finished this album by Valentine's Day which was my personal goal. But, I am just now getting around to posting it. These last few pages came together relatively quickly. And I attribute that to having a rough outline in place as to what pictures to take each day and the easy of the Simple Stories system. I am very happy with how the album turned out!</div>

It was a long time in the making...most of my scrappy stuff sat in storage for six months while we moved and found a house, then it sat in boxes for four months in the basement while the room was being constructed from a completely unfinished space. In the meantime, I scrapped with a pared-down stash first in my in-laws sunroom and then in the new dining room at our new house. I was fortunate enough to have supplies and space to scrap during those eleven months, but it sure does feel great to finally have a room back. So now it's time to share some photos of the new space!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's the view when you first walk through the door. The artwork is my aunt and uncle's, who are professional artists out of St. Petersburg, Florida. Their pieces have always hung in my scraproom and I love how bright and cheery they are. The little table from Ikea is for my little guy to work on his masterpieces while I create mine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B4Wcel5hZg8/VMRRiST1dyI/AAAAAAAAzEc/50eju3VxTkQ/s1600/IMG_8117.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-B4Wcel5hZg8/VMRRiST1dyI/AAAAAAAAzEc/50eju3VxTkQ/s1600/IMG_8117.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's a better view into the room. I wish we didn't have to have the support pole in the middle of the room but there wasn't much we could do about that. I placed my scrap desk in the middle of the room so it would be against the support pole and also sit right underneath one of the banks of lights. I worked very hard with the electrician on lighting choices and placement. I am so happy with how it turned out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DNoRu2hbM7M/VMRRihVthvI/AAAAAAAAzEg/n6pJCZeINNo/s1600/IMG_8118.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DNoRu2hbM7M/VMRRihVthvI/AAAAAAAAzEg/n6pJCZeINNo/s1600/IMG_8118.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And here's the view from the southwest corner of the room. It's nice that the room is so big that the futon still fits in here. It's nice to have this option for when guests stay over. I truly love my two Besta shelves from Ikea...they made it through the move fully assembled which was nice. Next to the shelf are my Display Dynamics acrylic trays I use to house my cardstock. And next to that is my Raskog cart from Ikea that houses lots of my essentials. It's nice to be able to wheel it right up to my desk when I am ready to scrap.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gV1DoIZ-ivs/VMRRieGF9II/AAAAAAAAzEk/8xSB1FJL6nI/s1600/IMG_8119.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gV1DoIZ-ivs/VMRRieGF9II/AAAAAAAAzEk/8xSB1FJL6nI/s1600/IMG_8119.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's the view from the northwest corner of the room. The closed door in this photo leads to the laundry and storage area. The yellow paint and white trim in the room was picked to keep the room bright and cheery. I wanted the space to feel the furthest from a basement room as possible.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nJbBizyuJUE/VMRRn5vCYFI/AAAAAAAAzE0/k5neChvRgGM/s1600/IMG_8120.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nJbBizyuJUE/VMRRn5vCYFI/AAAAAAAAzE0/k5neChvRgGM/s1600/IMG_8120.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here's a better look at the scrap desk and my smaller Besta shelf unit. On my scrap desk sits my Pampered Chef tool turnabout with all my essentials. Next to the shelf are my Jet Max cubes and milk crates. My JetMax cubes store Thickers, chipboard and finished layouts that need to be filed into albums. The milk crates hold my 12x12 Crop Hopper pockets that store flat embellishments (stickers, rub-ons, die-cuts, etc) by theme.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TVy2MH60AV4/VMRRot6gRDI/AAAAAAAAzE4/orgAvp31vgk/s1600/IMG_8121.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TVy2MH60AV4/VMRRot6gRDI/AAAAAAAAzE4/orgAvp31vgk/s1600/IMG_8121.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is the computer area of my room. The dog crate had to find a home in this room and I actually am happy it's here because it gives me more tabletop space for my printer and printing supplies. The crate used to sit in the middle of our family room in Portland, so we splurged and got one with a wood frame so it could double as an end table. It was stained with a cherry finish, but me husband painted it white to match the rest of my scraproom furniture. My Ikea Alex drawers sitting to the right of the computer desk holds my Cricut and lots of other scrapping and office supplies.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p7yhgO2ZMho/VMRRoirZOpI/AAAAAAAAzE8/FUuqoScYHhk/s1600/IMG_8122.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p7yhgO2ZMho/VMRRoirZOpI/AAAAAAAAzE8/FUuqoScYHhk/s1600/IMG_8122.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In regards to organization, I did my best to copy my storage and organization exactly as I had it in Portland after I redid my scraproom there. If you want to reference that post, <a href="http://scrappin-daisy.blogspot.com/2013/04/scraproom-makeover.html" target="_blank"><b>here's the link</b></a>!</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><u>Now, it's time for a RAK</u>! I cleaned out my supplies before we moved and donated a lot of it. But, the good stuff that I just didn't think I'd use I put in a box to give away to my scrappy friends. So, for a chance to win this RAK from my goodie box, all you have to do is be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this blog post. For an extra entry, "like" <a href="https://www.facebook.com/megan.haas.smith.scrapbooking" target="_blank"><b>my scrappy FaceBook page</b></a> here! I'll draw a winner next Sunday, February 1st!</i></div>

I am a bit behind in the scraping world. Keeping my blog updated, Project Life, my December Daily and keeping up with my traditional layouts. A cross-country move, selling a house, buying a house, getting my son placed into a preschool and set with an IEP through the local school district and being pregnant with Baby Boy #2 are what took up most of my 2014.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But, even amidst the chaos, I did manage to complete 66 traditional layouts, 24 Project Life spreads, 32 December Daily pages (from both 2013 and 2014 albums') and 15 cards. Not too shabby. I would have liked to have completed more, so hopefully I can meet my 2015 goals of finishing my 2013 and 2014 Project Life albums, keeping up with my 2015 Project Life album, finishing my 2014 December Daily, starting Liam and Baby #2's baby books (doing these Project Life style) and scrapping some traditional layouts as well.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, with my scrappy goals for 2015 laid out, I'd like to take a moment and review my top ten favorite traditional layouts I created in 2014. Here they are in no particular order...<br />

I'll be back to share more pages after the holiday! Merry Christmas everyone!Megan Smith (aka Daisymeh)http://www.blogger.com/profile/00364568410649722467noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1452284500841824149.post-68209330090926153972014-12-19T10:16:00.001-06:002014-12-19T10:17:03.533-06:00"All In The Family" Challenge at Frosted Designs!<span style="font-family: inherit;">Hello all! I'm here today here with my last Frosted Designs Friday challenge for you. :(</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Thanksgiving was just three weeks ago, Hanukkah started this past Tuesday and Christmas is only six days away! Then we all have the New Year's celebrations to enjoy. With all these holidays upon us, it makes me think of my favorite part of the holiday season - spending quality time with family.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><b><i>So today's challenge is titled "All In The Family." Your project (layout, card, art journal page, mixed media piece, etc) </i></b><i><b><u>must focus on family and include a quote about family somewhere on it</u></b></i>.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Here is my example featuring a beautiful quote from Maya Angelou. I first printed the quote onto a sheet of letter size paper, then took a 3x4 journaling card and taped it onto the paper over the text so when I ran the same sheet of paper through my printer again, it printed the text exactly where I wanted on the journaling card.</span><br />
