- Gather your supplies: Chipboard, acrylic paint, crackle paint, chalk ink.
- Paint your chipboard thoroughly with the acrylic paint. Set aside to dry.
- Once dry, coat your chipboard thoroughly with a medium to thick coat of crackle paint. Set aside to dry.
- Once dry, you will see cracks appear on the chipboard. You can stop here if you’d like or move onto step 5.
- Lightly ink the chipboard to enhance the cracks.
- Now you have beautifully antiqued, crackled chipboard pieces.
- Use them on your project!

Thank you for posting this! I have 2 bottles of crackle paint that I have been hesitant to crack open. Now that I see your examples, I am thinking I have to give it a go!!
