Hi all!
So I am still here, still scrapping and still working on catching up on Project Life. It's a slow process for sure, but I'm loving every minute even if it's only ten minutes here and there. I finished up my title pages for 2015 and 2016 as well as 2016 Week 1 (which I will share in a later post). Today I thought it would be fun to share the two title pages as well as take a look back at my 2013 and 2014 title pages for a comparison of what my title pages look like each year.
So, here is my 2016 title page I just created...
And my newly created 2015 title page...
And my old 2014 title page...
And even older 2013 title page, the first year I did Project Life...
So, each year, I pick one Core Kit and use it for the entire year. This standard core kit, consistent weekly title cards and weekly recaps are how I maintain continuity throughout each album. 2016 is the High Five edition, 2015 it's the Coral edition, 2014 I used the Jade edition and 2013 it was the Turquoise edition.
I also like to maintain continuity among all my project life albums by having the same elements on each title page which is obvious when you look at the four pages above. The elements I include are...
- A recent family photo
- The year
- The Smith Family title card (in 2013 this was combined with the family photo)
- At least one photo of Liam (and Jensen)
- A quote filler card of some sort
- One or two other filler cards
- One pocket that focuses on a big change that year - a new house, a cross-country move, a new baby, etc.
I like having a format to follow each year. It makes putting together these all important title pages so much easier!
Be on the lookout as I continue to post more Project Life spreads!
