The Crop Addict February Kit is Gorgeous!

I just finished up my layouts using the Crop Addict February Kit and I gotta say this kit is amazing. I am not a huge Valentine's Day fan which is pretty evident in the fact that none of my layouts below feature my husband Andrew and myself. But, this just goes to show how versatile these pretty papers and embellishments are! I really love the kit option for this month with all it's extra embellishments but especially for the awesome flocking kit. I didn't get the news that Janice had passed away until Saturday. I hadn't been on the board much the few days before and didn't see all the postings about her sudden and tragic death. When I read the news Saturday morning, I just stared at the computer screen in disbelief and started to cry. Janice was a truly amazing woman who always had something nice to say about everyone. She was everyone's friend and we could all turn to her for words of encouragement. We all got to know the family she loved through her beautiful layouts. Even though I never met Janice in person, I counted her among my friends. The scrapbooking world lost a gem with Janice and heaven is lucky to have her. I'll miss you Janice.

A Becky Fleck Exclusive!

I am so excited! We are having an awesome Cyber Crop at Crop Addict February 27th through March 1st and as a member of the design team, I am responsible for hosting two challenges over the weekend. Well, I am hosting a sketch challenge and Becky Fleck of Page Maps is going to design an exclusive sketch for our challenge. I am such a big fan of hers and am just bursting with joy about this! Tis the season to reorganize.

So I decided to reorganize my scraproom! This reorganization was spurred by the purchase of a second Closetmaid Cubicals unit and an utter dislike of the plastic drawers that used to sit in it's place. I also purchased some wood containers that originally were intended for kitchen utensil storage and found they work well as embellishment storage. I love my room now - even more than before. It looks so much more put together!
