3D Photo Technique.

I shared this simple technique on a few scrappy sites and I thought I'd post it here for you as well. Have fun!

1. Gather your supplies: 2 identical copies of your photo, foam adhesive, craft knife and craft mat. 
   
2. Take one copy of your photo and using the craft knife, carefully and precisely cut out the object you want to be 3D from the photo. 
   
3. Back the cutout photo with foam adhesive.
   
4. Make sure all the backing is off of your foam adhesive and carefully place your cutout photo directly over it's mirror image in the uncut photo. 
   
5. The result will be a 3D affect with the focal object coming out of the photo. 
   
6. Use your photo on a layout!
   

We had a blast at Serendipity Scrapbooks last weekend!

The Retro Flashback Crop at Serendipity Scrapbooks was such a blast. The Design Team did such a great job putting everything together and the waves of nostalgia hit as I was scrappin' to the awesome playlist they had put together and working on the retro-themed challenges they arranged. Here are the six layouts I completed for the crop!

Another Successful Feeling Scrappy Class!

The "Year of Cheer" card class was a definite success at Feeling Scrappy. Class ended this past week and I can now share with you my creations I made. We all created altered boxes with dividers to store our cards in. Stacey created six awesome card sketches for our use and I was able to create four cards from each sketch - so versatile. I created cards for various occasions so now I have an awesome stack to get me through the year. Be sure to check out Feeling Scrappy's next class, Sketchapalooza 3, which begins March 2nd. I made the Serendipity Scrapbooks Design Team!

Whoo-hoo! I just found out today that I made the Serendipity Scrapbooks Design Team. I screamed so loud today when I found out, my coworker jumped out of her skin! From March - August 2009, I will be a design team member for this awesome site. Serendipity Scrapbooks is a great scrappy site - they have hoppin' message board full of some fantastic scrappers, a great store with lots of selection and amazing monthly kits, an inspirational gallery and some really cool challenges! I am thrilled to be a part of the Review Team for this site - trying out the latest and greatest products found in the Serendipity Scrapbooks store.
